This presentation will help to educate the athletic trainer about the many facets of moving into a management or leadership position. Most athletic training programs (undergraduate or graduate) do not address or prepare athletic trainers for promotion into management level positions or educate them with the information that is needed. Most athletic trainers find themselves in leadership or management level positions with very little preparation for the demands of the role.
