

Kathy Dieringer, EdD, ATC
Kathy Dieringer, EdD, ATC, is the co-owner of three outpatient rehabilitation clinics in the north Texas area, employing over 25 employees including physical therapists, occupational therapists and athletic trainers. She has worked in the collegiate, secondary schools, and clinical settings in her 28 years of experience as a certified and licensed athletic trainer, and is currently handling administrative duties for her businesses. In addition to serving on various state, district and NATA committees, Kathy has served as President of District VI of the NATA, Chair of the Clinical and Emerging Practices Athletic Trainers’ Committee, and NATA District VI Director. Kathy is currently the NATA President, serving from 2021 - 2024. She has been recognized by the NATA as an Athletic Trainer Service Award recipient, and the NATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer award, and has been inducted into the District VI Hall of Fame. Active in the Denton community, Kathy serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Denton Sports Commission, and provides athletic training coverage to numerous athletes in Denton and the surrounding area. Kathy earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in May 2007.
