Julie Cavallario, PhD, ATC

Julie Cavallario, PhD, ATC, is an Associate Professor of Athletic Training at Old Dominion University, where she also earned her master’s in education and PhD in Human Movement Science. She completed her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at SUNY Cortland. Dr. Cavallario serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Athletic Training and as Associate Editor for the Journal of Athletic Training Education and Clinical Practice and the International Journal of Athletic Therapy and Training. Her research focuses on the professional issues of salaries in the profession of athletic training and the preparation and retention of athletic training students.
