Cindy Trowbridge PhD, ATC, LAT, CSCS
Cindy Trowbridge PhD, ATC, LAT, CSCS has been a certified athletic trainer since 1993 and has worked in clinical, educational, and research settings. Currently, Cindy is actively engaged in research on the clinical effectiveness of therapeutic modalities including diathermy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy. She has presented several therapeutic modality abstracts at national conferences and continues to publish data related to her work. Cindy has been involved in various human subject research projects involving clinical techniques. She was a co-investigator on the learning techniques and the fatigue associated with the performance of CPR. These data have been published in BioMed Central Nursing and were used in the recent revisions and recommendations from the American Heart Association on the performance of CPR. Currently, Cindy is actively engaged in research on the clinical effectiveness of therapeutic modalities including diathermy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy. She has presented several therapeutic modality abstracts at national conferences and continues to publish data related to her work. She has published in Journal of Athletic Training, Athletic Therapy Today, Muscle and Nerve, Sports Health Care Perspectives, and Athletic Training Educators Journal.
