Edward Strapp, FP-C, NRP, LAT, ATC is a nationally respected leader in emergency, sports, and alpine medicine, with an unmatched blend of credentials: Flight Paramedic (FPC), Tactical Paramedic (TPC), Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP), Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), and member of the National Ski Patrol (NSP). His dual background allows him to seamlessly integrate high-level sports medicine with advanced prehospital care in dynamic environments.He’s worked with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams, supported major international events including the Youth Winter Olympics, and was recently selected as a medical provider for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.Ed is the co-founder of Sports Medicine Emergency Management (SMEM), where he leads innovative, scenario-based emergency training for everyone from the NFL to high schools.
