James Zachazewski, ATC, PT, DPT

Jim Zachazewski, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC, is a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer with extensive administrative, clinical, EMR/EHR, compliance and academic experience in a variety of hospital settings regarding the provision of rehabilitation services. He has a successful track record of designing and implementing detailed programs and concepts and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and California.

Dr. Zachazewski has recently joined the Brigham and Women's Hospital Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Division of Sports Medicine as an Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist. He is excited to join this exciting department and looks forward to assisting BWH Sports Medicine in their continued growth and development delivering exceptional clinical care to all athletes and academic excellence.

Prior to this he served as a Clinical Director for MGH Department of Physical & Occupational Therapy, and as the Clinical Content Lead for the Health Professions at Partners eCare. From 2005 to 2013 while at MGH, he oversaw the design, development and implementation of MGH Sports Physical Therapy and MGH Rehabilitation Services at the MGH/BWH Health Care Center at Foxboro.

Between 2013 and 2017, he assumed the position as Clinical Content Lead, Health Professions at Partners eCare, holding primary or collaborative responsibility for the coordination and development of the documentation standards and tools used by PT, OT, Speech, Ortho Tech and Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab. Collaborative: Respiratory, Nutrition, Social Work, Spiritual Care & Complimentary Therapies using the Epic platform. In 2017 he joined Cape Cod Rehab and Fitness until returning to Mass General Brigham Health Care in 2020

Dr. Zachazewski serves Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of PT at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. He has authored or edited 6 textbooks on orthopedic and sports PT, multiple textbook chapters and peer-reviewed articles. From 2009-2019, Dr. Zachazewski was a member of the Board of Allied Health Professions for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Dr. Zachazewski joined Lynk Global as an Independent Consultant in 2019.
