Corey Oshikoya, EdD, ATC

Dr. Corey Oshikoya is a certified athletic trainer and serves as an assistant clinical professor within the athletic training education program at Northern Arizona University. With a wealth of experience, Dr. Oshikoya has adeptly instructed healthcare-related courses both in person and through online platforms. Beyond his academic duties, he boasts over 25 years of clinical practice, specializing in the care of professional and collegiate athletes. 

Dr. Oshikoya’s commitment extends beyond the classroom. He has held leadership positions at various levels, including state, district, and national offices. Currently, he chairs the Professional Practice and Discipline Committee for the Board of Certification (BOC) and contributes to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Ability, and Leadership Development Committee of the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). His scholarly pursuits focus on cultural competency, health administration, and rehabilitation topics. Dr. Oshikoya’s dedication to advancing the field of athletic training underscores his impact both within academia and the broader healthcare community.
